First Sale Secured

At the official opening of the Institute for Chemicals and Fuels from Alternative Resources (ICFAR), WORLDiscoveries Executive Director Paul Paolatto announced the sale of the first Agri-Therm mobile pyrolysis unit to the government of Mexico, though the University of Vera Cruz, for $1 million.

North American testing proceeding

Agri-Therm has been working to update and improve the performance of our 10TPD mobile unit. Our efforts are now concentrated on proving the operation of the equipment in select North American markets. Commercial units are not yet available for sale, however we anticipate active sales in 2009 as well as expansion into additional international markets.

Ontario Ministry of Research & Innovation Strategic Opportunities Program

In May of 2008 Agri-Therm was invited to participate in a workshop to explore strategic opportunities in the Clean Technology and Bio-economy sectors in Ontario. The workshop brought together industry leaders from around the province to provide input into funding opportunities being developed by the Ontario government. Many opportunities exist for government and industry cooperation in these sectors.

Agri-Therm Inc. joins forces with the University of Western Ontario

Agri-Therm Inc. announces the formal signing of a partnership agreement with the University of Western Ontario for a collaborative research project to convert biomass into bio-oil using a mobile pyrolysis unit.
