LPS100: Agri-Therm Lab Scale Pyrolysis System

Agri-Therm LPS100 is a 1-10 kg/hr fluidized bed flash pyrolysis pilot plant designed to bridge the gap between lab scale analysis and commercial alternative fuel production.  Research facilities can easily and efficiently convert a wide variety of biomass feedstocks to biooil, biochar and biogas while carefully controlling critical reaction parameters such as temperature and residence time.

Flash pyrolysis operating parameters, such as temperature and residence time, have a significant impact on product yields.  The Agri-Therm LPS100 allows the customer to have precise control on temperature and residence time, resulting in an accurate determination of product yields.  Product biooil, biochar and biogas can then be further analyzed to determine energy content and physical and chemical characteristics.
